What is your simplest pleasure, and how does it make you feel?

Walking helps me integrate my thoughts and emotions in my body, and sitting with nature helps me ground myself. Is it also simple to gather with friends and sing? I like to do that. I wonder – what is simplicity? What is pleasure? Quaker Meeting is a simple practice that nevertheless can be quite complex. I love the feeling of being so busy that I don’t waste any time or attention on irrelevant thought or detail. I think that’s called being “in flow.” I enjoy helping people, especially through direct service. I love playing with children. I delight in dancing. There are, of course, more personal pleasures, simultaneously simple and ecstatic.
