A smoky, peaty whisky from Laphroaig, a dry and smoky chocolate made by Michel Cluizel of beans from Sao Tome, and a slice from what may be the last chunk in the world of Shaft’s two-year gold reserve blue cheese. Enjoyed in delightful conversation with Hester.
Oh, and we had some pepper water crackers, too.
